I can tell you right now, the Nexus 5 will be built by LG. There has already been leaked pictures, and the LG D820 is most definitely the Nexus 5.

Not sure where you have been getting these HTC rumors but they are completely far from the truth.

i live in Cyprus and i can’t buy nexus 4 from Google’s website so most probably i wont be able to buy nexus 5 either. i have a few relatives in the US though, do you think they can buy the phone for me unlocked, sim-free or whatever the requirements are so that i can use it in my country? would the price still be around 300 dollars?

    • Joe

      September 22, 2013 at 1:55 pm

Yeah they can purchase it from Google’s website. As always, it will be $300. They just need to ship it to you. Also the Nexus will always be unlocked, which means it could be used on any GSM network in the world, and of course including Cyprus.

However give that relative the money to purchase it for you, nothing is free Alex.

      Hope I helped you.

Nexus 4 came quite late in India after the actual release. So do you think the India release for Nexus 5 will be in Nov/Dec?

If difficult to take the author seriously when he refers to it as Key Lime Pie. He is clearly not up to date and is just guessing on all fronts, and knows less about the Nexus 5, than a 6 year old you knows how to google.

But anyway, I admire the effort and tenacity to promote the new Nexus phone, albeit “attempted” effort is more accurate. In my opinion, a site dedicated to a Nexus Phone, should be greatly more informed and detailed.

Good effort though, Keep it up!

I know it is difficult to speculate details on an – as of now – unanounced phone, but for a site dedicated to the N5 the information in this article is dissapointing.

For one, Android 4.4 has been confirmed as KitKat by Google – and this has been known by almost all Android enthusiasts – so it is hard to take the author seriously when he is still referring to it as Key Lime Pie. Of course Google say that the internal references to KLP is to keep it hidden from leaks until a proper announcment – which is what they got.

Oh, and you say that your next post will be about pre-ordering the phone. I count SEVEN posts since this one and not one has even touched the subject of pre-orders.

That said, I like this site. But a little more up to date and detailed information would be nice rather than attempting to drive up site traffic.
