128GB Nexus 6P Now Available for Purchase Through Huawei

order button for the nexus 6PStill trying to get your hands on the massive 128GB Nexus 6P? When Google opened the doors for pre-orders, it offered the handset in a variety of different storage options, including 128GB. However, several users have reported seeing the dreaded “out of stock” message when attempting to add the handset to their shopping cart. The good news is that Huawei has since updated to its online store to offer the 128GB model.

As first reported by the folks at GSM Arena, Huawei’s online store had initially only offered the 32 and 64GB Nexus 6P models. The Chinese tech company has since updated its store, however, to include the oversized 128GB model. So if you are unable to find the 128GB model available for sale on Google Play, check out Huawei’s online store at http://www.gethuawei.com/nexus6p.

Hauwei’s online store offers the 128GB Nexus 6P in two different color variations: aluminum, which is darker, and graphite, which is almost white. Other than appearance, there’s really no difference between these two different models. Both the aluminum and graphite 128GB Nexus 6P feature the same quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, along with 3GB of random access memory (RAM), a 12.3-megapixel primary camera, a read-mounted fingerprint sensor, and they both run Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

So, how much can you expect to pay for the Nexus 6P? Both Google and Huawei are selling the handset at the same price. The 32GB model will set you back $499, while the 64GB model sells for $549, and the 128GB model sells for $649. It’s not the cheapest smartphone on the market, but it’s certainly not the most expensive, either. After all, you have to remember that these prices do not require the user to sign up for another 2-year agreement with his or her cell carrier. You purchase the handset, install your SIM card, and have it activated on any carrier that supports the new Nexus 6P.

Of course, there’s another smartphone that may sound more appealing to budget-conscious consumers: the Nexus 5X. When Google unveiled the Nexus 6P, it also announced the Nexus 5X. The Nexus 5X is manufactured by LG, featuring some pretty decent specs for the price. The 16GB model costs just $379, while the 32GB model costs $429. The Nexus 5X doesn’t have all of the same hardware as its Nexus 6P counterpart, but it’s certainly on par with it. In any case, you should check out the Nexus 5X before making your decision on which handset is right for you.

If you plan on buying the Nexus 6P, though, you should first check the Google Play Store to see if it’s in stock. Google is currently offering a free $50 Play Store credit to all Nexus 6P pre-orders — a promotion that’s not available through purchases made on Huawei’s website.
